Welcome to The British Short Film Awards, a new and exciting competition celebrating short films from Great Britain and around the World.
Short films have been the launchpad for some of the industry's top names and our goal at The British Short Film Awards is to celebrate, nurture and encourage the next generation of filmmakers.
The British Short Film Awards has proudly partnered with the Hear Art Project. The Hear Art Project is a platform founded by Cindy Sasha and Academy Award® Winner Rachel Shenton; with a focus to merge the deaf and hearing community in the UK film industry. Hear Art commits to supporting deaf and hard of hearing filmmakers to develop their career and make the cross over into mainstream media. For more information go to www.hearart.co.uk
Due to the global pandemic the 2021 awards will be a non-public event at the stunning Rosewood London hotel.

The British Short Film Awards is a global competition and will only show trailers and not the full short film, thus not impacting your valuable festival premier status.
