The POP International film festival is an IMDB AWARDS listing Qualifier!
NEW VENUE for the live screening - The Alex Theater!
season 5 update.
***Due to the overwhelming films this season, we will only be screening winning films and any finalists we can fit in around those films. Sorry for the inconvenience regarding screenings. As this film festival is grass roots and is paid for out of my own pocket, I don't currently have the resources for a second session. However if when ticket sales go on sale there is enough response to cover the venue booking I will en devour to add another session to be able to screen more films.
This is a diversity film festival that aims to expand the film making community to use different actors to traditional films.
The focus for the judging will be based on how the film fits the category, the quality of the script, acting, filming and general quality of the film. All films submitted are watched from start to finish by the judges.
Submissions must be in English or have English subtitles.
Submissions will only be accepted via FilmFreeway.
All successful films will need to be submitted as either HD on a stick or DVD disk.
