What a terrific festival for screenwriters! As part of the Action On Film's Megafest in high-profile Las Vegas, the Script Summit was a great experience. The communication with their organizers (my interactions were mainly with festival creator Geoffrey Calhoun) was smooth and fast, and even the finalist award certificate that I received right afterwards was beautifully designed. Looking forward to entering the competition for 2019.

Script Summit was one of several competitions I entered this year and it was by far the most responsive and professional. Regular communication kept me informed about the status of the judging and upcoming results. I only wish I had been able to attend the awards ceremony and all the networking opportunities there.

    Response from festival:

Thank you, Chris! We respect our writers and strive hard to make sure they are kept up to date before and during the fest.

  • Fantastic festival! Once I entered my screenplays into the contests I received consistent communication from the festival with updates and during the weeks of the actual festival there was literally communication each day to keep me posted of festival guests, locations for events, and opportunities for networking/pitching/socializing. I definitely look forward to submitting again!
