Film Festival Submission Rules & Terms:
Each project can only be submitted one time in all categories. (All films will accepted this year so please only submit your film once for one category)
Entries must be formalized by their respective producers and/or legal representatives. The work will only be considered enrolled after completing all the mandatory fields of the registration form and all the requirements met.
Works posted after the stipulated registration date will not be accepted.
Works that are illegal, offensive, pornographic, contain content that propagates violence, discrimination, and/or violate any national or international law will not be accepted.
The party submitting any film/work to the Hub City Film Festival agrees to participate and authorizes the display of the cinematographic work on the Hub City Film Festival, its website and on platforms or video streaming pages such as VIMEO or other video pages.
It is herein defined as responsible parties or participants as any person or entity directly or indirectly involved in the completion, submission, filing, or presentation of the film/work.
Films shown at private screenings not open to the public (for crew, investors, etc) are eligible.
All entries must be either in English or subtitled in English. Dialogue lists are not accepted.
Entrant confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry into the Festival and to use all music, images, and content in the entry.
Submission Guidelines
Only complete entries (including fee payment and film/screener) will be considered.
Entrants are permitted to submit works-in-progress (i.e., without final color correction or sound mixing), but please note that the programming committee will only consider the version submitted. Subsequent cuts or replacement copies will only be accepted at the request of the programming committee.
Judging & Selection
Feature, Documentary, Short Subject, and Music Videos are selected for Festival presentation by the Hub City Film Festival Programming Committee. If a film is selected for screening, the Festival office will contact the entrant by phone or email.
All entrants will be notified on or before Sept. 7th, 2024.
