RIFF is an independent film festival that take place in Sestri Levante (Portofino Coast), Italy. The festival was born to support Independent Cinema, young directors and Environmental and Social Awareness: it became very quickly a national favorite and it's located in one of the most stunning locations in the world.

Great independent feature films from directors under 35, Documentaries, Shorts, Industry Events, Masterclasses from top level Hollywood professionals.

Actors, producers, directors, writers, journalists, artists, guest speakers and many national and international guests attend the festival every year. The atmosphere is relaxed and you get the chance to actually meet and talk to all our guests.

10 New Feature Films in Competition, reserved to directors under 35 years old.
10 New Feature Documentaries on the Environment and Social issues / no age limit for the directors.
10 New Shorts / no age limit for the directors.

FESTIVAL BY INVITATION ONLY / SUBMISSIONS will be accepted ONLY via email (programming@rivierafilm.org) with link and film's info attached.
