Imagination Lunchbox is a film production company based in Baltimore, Maryland. After screening films at numerous festivals across the country, we realized that there was a need for kid focused films in the Baltimore, Maryland and general area. It seemed only appropriate that a company well-known for kid centered films would be the perfect organization to help fill this need.

The 6th annual film festival again partners with The Baltimore Times Newspaper and Freelance Associate's Uplifting Minds 2 Talent Conference to present the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival at the Eubie Blake Cultural Arts Center. The film festival is seeking films made by kids, films for kids, and films starring kids. We ask that films be no longer than 10 minutes long and may include, but are not limited to narratives, animation, documentaries, experimental works. Films may be domestic or foreign. Youth voices and viewpoints are encouraged.

Closer to our festival date will we announce the films and activities.

While filmmakers from all over the world are encouraged to submit their work, as a Baltimore, Maryland based festival we do encourage local filmmakers to submit their work, and express any roots, staging, or connection to the city of Baltimore in Maryland and the surrounding areas/states. We have set a goal for at least a percentage of our films to introduce kids in Baltimore to international voices and experiences-so international filmmakers, please submit your film (with English subtitles).

We encourage filmmakers who hope to premiere their work at prominent film festivals to check with those festivals and their premier, viewing, or screening requirements. Imagination Lunchbox LLC is not responsible for a film's ineligibility for other festivals due to a screening at this, or any other Imagination Lunchbox associated festival.

Filmmakers are responsible for knowing and understanding their authority to provide their film to the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival for screening at the festival events. Imagination Lunchbox LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for any violation connected to a submitted or screened filmed that has been mistakenly or purposely submitted or provided by the individual that has submitted the film to Imagination Lunchbox LLC for consideration and screening.

The Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival will NOT be able to help defray the costs of travel and lodging.

Works invited to participate in the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival will be shown in the section determined most appropriate by Festival programmers, at their sole discretion. Quick communication, which was appreciated. It would be good if, in the future, definitions of "finalist", "semi-finalist", etc. are shared. It was a little confusing initially.
