Requirements to competitive submissions. International programme
1. There are no fees for the participation in the festival.
2. Participants can be both professionals and amateurs.
3. Live action short films of any genre can participate in the competition.
4. The runtime of one entry must be from 5 to 30 minutes.
5. If the original language of dialogue or text featured in the film is not Ukrainian, the entry must be subtitled in English.
6. Submitted films must be in the format sufficient for being presented on a wide screen. Recommended format: .avi /.mov /.mp4. Codec: H264. Resolution: Full HD 1920x1080. The total size must not exceed 8 GB.
7. The films must be shot in the years 2018 – 2020 and completed before May 01, 2020.
8. Submissions are accepted by the Organizing Committee starting February 10, 2020.
9. The festival programme will be announced on Aug.10 , 2020
Submission terms and conditions
1. To apply you need to complete the online application form at https://filmfreeway.com/festival/kinoshot in the period from February 10, 2020 to May 29, 2020. Please attach the direct links to your film on Vimeo, Youtube, or use the file exchanging service FEX.NET.
2. Send the following materials to the festival email address chefilmcommission@gmail.com:
- film synopsis as long as 100 (one hundred) words;
- three (3) stills from the film;
- the Director’s short biography and filmography up to 300 (three hundred) words;
- photos of the Director and the main actors (individual photos).
3. Each Director may submit no more than 3 (three) films.
4. All postage expences are paid by an applicant.
5. Applying for the participation in the festival, the authors (rightsholders) agree with the Regulations of the festival and recognize the festival’s right to use any of the provided materials for non-commercial purposes until the end of 2020.
5.1.Applying for the participation in the Festival the authors (rightsholders) provide materials completely on a charge-free basis, expecting no payments from the festival organizers.
6. Applicants confirm that they are holders of all rights necessary for the screening of the submitted film at this film festival.
7. All sent copies and online links for copies are stored in the archives of the festival, the DVD-film copies of films shall not be returned.
8. All rights reserved by their holders, according to the international standards of copyright.
The selection process
1. The films are selected by a panel of experts, headed by the programme director of the festival.
2. Members of the panel are approved by the organizing committee of the festival.
3. The panel consists of three experts.
4. The Organizing Committee informs the authors of films about the results of selection on 10 August 2020 via the publication of the results on the official website of the Festival.
5. After the announcement of the results a copy of the contract will be sent to authors of the selected films.
Вимоги до конкурсних робіт
1. Участь у фестивалі безкоштовна.
2. Учасниками можуть бути як професіонали, так і кінематографісти-любителі;
3. До участі у конкурсі допускаються короткометражні ігрові фільми будь-якого жанру.
4. Тривалість одного фільму від 5 до 30 хвилин.
5. До фільмів, озвучених іноземними мовами, мають додаватися українські та англійські субтитри.
6. До конкурсу будуть допущені фільми у якості, достатній для показу на широкому екрані. Рекомендовано: Формат: .avi /.mov /.mp4. Кодек: H264. Роздільна здатність: Full HD 1920x1080. Розмір не має перевищувати 8 ГБ.
7. До відбору подаються фільми, відзняті впродовж 2018-2020 років і завершені до 01 травня 2020 року.
8. Заявки приймаються оргкомітетом з 10 лютого 2020 року.
9. Програма фестивалю оголошується 10 серпня 2020 року.
Умови подання фільму
1. У період з 10 лютого по 29 травня 2020 року необхідно заповнити он-лайн форму за адресою: https://filmfreeway.com/festival/kinoshot. В он-лайн формі вказати посилання на фільм, використовуючи закриті лінки сервісу Vimeo, Youtube, або додати посилання на скачування фільму у файлообміннику FEX.NET.
2. На електронну адресу фестивалю chefilmcommission@gmail.com необхідно надіслати наступні матеріали:
синопсис фільму об’ємом до 100 (ста) слів;
три (3) кадри з фільму;
коротку біографію та фільмографію режисера об’ємом до 300 (трьохсот) слів;
фото режисера та головних акторів (окремі фотографії)
3. Кожен режисер може подати на конкурс не більше 3 (трьох) фільмів.
4. Усі витрати на доставку бандеролей та послуги поштового зв’язку оплачуються заявником.
5. Подаючи заявку на участь у фестивалі, автори (правовласники) погоджуються із Регламентом фестивалю та визнають за Фестивалем право на використання наданих ними матеріалів у некомерційних цілях до закінчення 2020 року.
5.1. Надаючи заявку на участь у Фестивалі, автори (правовласники) надають матеріали виключно на безоплатній основі.
6. Відправляючи електронну аплікаційну форму он-лайн та підписуючи її роздруківку, заявник (автор) пітверджує, що являється правовласником фільму.
7. Усі надіслані копії та он-лайн лінки на копії зберігаються в архіві фестивалю, DVD-копії фільмів не повертаються.
8. Авторські права повністю належать правовласникам згідно з міжнародними нормами авторського права.
Комісія по відбору
1. Відбір фільмів проводиться спеціальною комісією, яку очолює програмний директор фестивалю.
2. Склад Комісії затверджується організаційним комітетом фестивалю.
3. До складу Комісії входить 3 особи. .
4. Оргкомітет інформує авторів фільмів про результати відбору 10.08.2020 шляхом публікації результатів на офіційних веб-сторінках Фестивалю.
5. Після оголошення результатів відбору авторам відібраних для показу фільмів буде надіслано для підписання примірник договору на показ фільму.
