The Festival also benefits from the vibrant Toronto filmmaking community.

We were thrilled to have our official Toronto premiere for Life and the Art of Lying be with Toronto Short Film Festival, and even more honoured to come away with an award for Best LGBT Film. Steve and his team are excellent communicators - always available via email to answer questions - and they do great work not only to promote the festival but to also promote individual films in advance. It's clear how huge of a passion for indie film the whole team has, and I will definitely be sharing new films in future years with this festival. Programming blocks are a good length and a good mixture of content. Also, we took advantage of the offer to reserve space to have a lobby party for our cast and crew, and had a great time doing so. Take them up on that offer, and I can attest that screenings do sell out!
