"Cinemaway" is a Ukrainian film- and media festival. It explores media and visual culture.This festival includes 3 parts: creative workshop, movie forum and film competition.
The tasks of the festival:
- creating and learning current problems and themes through the visual art;
- creating new cinema groups for realization of creative ideas and screenplays;
- distribution of the films of young people, groups, studios;
- filming organisation;
- holding the master-classes by proffesional filmmakers;
- international cooperation.

Rules & Terms

We are looking for short films under 20 minutes WITH SUBTITLES (.srt file, .vtt file etc.) in English/French/German/ or Ukrainian.
Our categories are:
- feature films;
- animation;
There are 3 programs: national, international and special program for thematic films.
All programs accept student- , debut- , professional films.
National and international programs consist of feature films and animation on different themes.
This year we have a special program called "Cultural heritage" that deals with different questions and problems that have risen in this field. We wait for films and works that tell about material and nonmaterial cultural heritage and how people coexist and work with it. In this program we accept films of all categories and genres.
