The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) is America’s largest film devoted to the creative spirit of architecture and design. Our curated films and panel discussions provide unique perspectives about the process behind architectural, graphic, and product design, urban and environmental issues, architectural photography, historic preservation, and much more. Our goal is to identify films with impassioned, human stories that appeal to a sophisticated design audience and those with a general interest in architecture and design.

The submissions are for ADFF: NY  October 15-18, 2025. Films that are selected will also be considered for other ADFF festivals and screenings during the 2025/26 season.

ADFF will also program the following festivals and will select films from the ADFF:NY selection. Each additional festival will be a separate opportunity for the filmmakers, ADFF selected films will have additional festival possibilities.  ADFF 2026/2027 season to include:

    Kyle has done an incredible job building this festival up over a number of years. I first had a film here in 2011 and it was much smaller. Now it's 2023 and he's presenting at bigger theaters and in multiple locations in the US and Canada. I had a fantastic experience this year with premieres in NY and Toronto. Sold out audiences at beautiful theaters. The hospitality and communication were first rate. Kyle is deeply connected with the vibrant A+D scenes in all these North American cities and it really makes a difference. I only wish I made more films about architecture!

    This year, I had the opportunity to visit this great festival with my film, "Best in the World". I really enjoyed every aspect of the festival, the communication with the staff before and after the event was extremely warm and friendly, they were always very responsive, and they had seen to that each screening and the discussions afterwards were unique and well tended. I hope to visit again in the future.

The programme is carefully curated and showcases a films from across the globe, presenting a multitude of perspectives and voices. The festival team is terrific and looks after filmmakers with care and professionalism. Highly recommended!
