PLEASE NOTE:

We only accept entries to our FilmScore competition here (read more about the competition here: https://www.bathfilmfestival.org.uk/about/).

FilmScore is a competition for 14 - 19 year olds.

If you submit a film here which is NOT related to the FilmScore Competition, it will be disqualified.

If you have a short film which you would like to submit to the festival you can do so here: https://www.bathfilmfestival.org.uk/submissions/

Bath Film Festival screens an exciting mix of world cinema and UK film previews, filmmaker Q&A sessions and inspiring documentaries.

We run three competitions: the IMDb Script to Screen Award (£5,000 cash prize for the best script, or a short film), the IMDb New Filmmaker Award (£1,000 for the best short film) and the Bath Film Festival Audience Award for the audience's favourite feature screened at the festival.

Please have a look here for more info: http://bathfilmfestival.org.uk/

We also run film-making and animation workshops for adults and young people to foster South West film-making talent and we work with schools and universities to foster an appreciation of film culture for the future.
