Hooray -- for the third consecutive year (2020), the Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival is recognized as one of the "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" by MovieMaker Magazine. Thank you!

The recurring theme of the annual Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival is "Other Places, Other People"; the festival's purpose is to encourage attendees to think broadly (about how huge the world of film is) and deeply (about the universal concerns and desires that unite all people). Its a great film festival. As a filmmaker in the shorts competition it was honor to be included in such a strong group of films. And it was great to see so many great feature length films and to meet other filmmakers. We really appreciated Richard and his team inviting us to Martha's Vineyard and taking such good care of us. Thank you.

  • MVIFF was a great festival experience as a filmmaker. Communication was great and the festival process organized and professional. I had multiple friends share that their virtual experience in 2020 was fantastic. They curate at a high and diverse level. I highly recommend this festival and would not miss submitting my next film.
