The CayFilm Cayman International Film Festival is an annual multi-day event that promotes the beautiful Cayman Islands as a world-class filming destination and incredible place to visit and do business. Red carpets, celebrity gala events, exclusive premiere screenings, question and answer sessions with filmmakers, daily film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, a fun awards show, sun, sea and sand...there is something for everyone at CayFilm!
In only its 4th year, CayFilm has already earned a reputation for being an inclusive, accessible and unique event and is rated on "FilmFreeway as a Top 100 Best Reviewed Festival”. Its location, combined with the ‘Caymankind’ hospitality of a very diverse island community, and a team who is passionate about film and nurturing up and coming filmmakers, is the reason why CayFilm is destined to be a permanent feature on the calendars of the Who’s Who in the industry.

Past CayFilm attendees, panelists and honorees include Zoe Saldana, Anthony Mackie, Terrence Howard, Paul Schrader, Gary Lucchesi, Ben Burtt, Teri Schwartz, Jon M. Chu, James V. Hart, Borys Kit, Reno Wilson, Victor Rasuk, Alexander Di Persia, Wes Studi, Brian Cox, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega, Rick Gomez and Nicky Whelan.

Part of CayFilm’s mission is to open up the Cayman Islands to the film industry around the world whilst opening up the world to Cayman’s young and aspiring filmmakers. In support of this goal to offer film related educational opportunities in the Cayman Islands, the Cayman Media Academy (CMA) has been developed under the CayFilm umbrella.

The Academy will offer classes and qualifications to students wishing to further their education in different film related studies with the eventual goal of a full-time degree available at the Festival’s own physical location. Younger filmmaking aficionados will have their own specially designed programmes to inspire and give confidence about their own unique abilities as filmmakers.

This is my second year attending this festival. Tony and his team have done a phenomenal job making this the best festival I've ever attended. Light years above last year's event, this festival is going to rock the world next year. A great place to network, meet filmmakers, see incredible films, all in one the prettiest backdrops in the world. If all festival were like this, it would be a stress-free world. Get your tickets for next year before they are gone!

I absolutely LOVED this festival. CayFilm attracts fantastic films from all over the world with its top-notch panels, parties, celebrities - and the lure of Island life! Tony, Jenn & staff clearly have a love for film - and for filmmakers - and that is evident in the way they run this festival and treat their filmmakers. I was honored to screen HOUSE BROKEN there this year, and will be sure to go back soon with another film!

Jenn and Tony Mark go out of their way to create a wonderful festival both for filmmakers and for film audiences.
This year, the festival hosted filmmaking legends who talked about their work on movies such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park or 2001: A Space Odyssey. Very impressive start for such a "young" festival!

My film has been selected by CayFilm this year and I was very happy to attend and present my film to a curious audience.
I hope to be back with my next film! :)
