Rules & Terms

1. Future Over Formula

We don’t reward repetition. If your film follows a formula, it must be broken, bent, or reimagined. Modern cinema begins where predictability ends.

2. Courage Beats Budget

There are no budget brackets here. Bold vision, risk, and personal voice matter more than production scale.

3. Style Is Meaning

Visual language is storytelling. Cinematography, color, rhythm, and texture must serve intention not decoration.

4. Authentic Voice Wins

We value sincerity over polish. Films should feel personal, necessary, and alive as if they had no choice but to exist.

5. Stories That Belong to Now

We seek films rooted in the present or aimed at the future. Nostalgia is welcome only when it speaks in a new language.

6. Cinema Is a Living Organism

Your work should breathe, provoke, disturb, inspire, or awaken curiosity. Indifference is the only failure.

7. Year of Creation

Submitted films must be completed within the last 3 years prior to the festival year, unless otherwise specified by the selection committee.

8. Language & Subtitles

Films in any language are accepted. English subtitles are required for all non-English dialogue.

9. Premiere Status & Availability

All films must be available for screening on the festival date. Premiere status is welcome but not mandatory, unless stated for a specific category.

10. Runtime & Format

Films must meet the runtime requirements of their selected category. All submissions should be provided in a standard digital screening format approved by the festival (MP4/MOV or high-quality digital file).

11. Rights & Permissions

By submitting, filmmakers confirm that they own all necessary rights to the film, including music, footage, and performances, and that the work can be publicly screened without legal restrictions.
