Buenos Aires International Film Competition celebrates the brave and the determined, and is ready to support all those who are not afraid of their ideas and their creative vision.

Everything in the world is constantly changing, and each new creative freedom often overrides other important topics of society and man in general.

BAIFC will help all those who are not afraid, who dare to express their ideas and who are ready to remind people that creativity is limitless.

And when it seems that everything has already been said, written and filmed.... we must not be afraid and go towards our goal and believe in our idea.

Live-Event will be held in Jardin Japones on November 9-12 , 2023 and will include 50 works from different countries.

Rules & Terms

Completion Date
BAIFC is open to any film completed after January 1, 2019, regardless of content, subject, or origin.

Premiere Status
We consider films regardless of their premiere status.

Subtitles
Films made in languages other than English must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.

Promotional
The festival has the right to use a trailer, stills, pics and posters for promotional purposes in various film magazines, social media, websites, etc

Entry Fees and refund policy
The BAIFC will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the BAIFC programming director or executive director. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.

All entry fees are non-refundable.
