The 10th annual Surfalorus Film Festival takes place September 22-25, 2021 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This four-day celebration showcases the year's best surf films, supporting cinematic wonders from award winning veterans to first-time filmmakers. Surfalorus is presented by Come Hear NC and is a partnership between Cucalorus and the Dare County Arts Council. Festival venues include Jennette' Pier, Jack Brown's, and the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island.

Surfalorus brings surfers and filmmakers together for four days of sharing and celebrating. Watch some of the year's coolest surf films each night and surf the best waves on the East Coast during the day. Surfalorus also takes place at the same time as the Easterns Surf Championships, so catch a few heats on the South side of Jennette's Pier, surf for a few hours on the Northside of the pier and then head upstairs for a cold beer and some great films Visiting filmmakers and VIP passholders can take advantage of a schedule of exclusive events like hang-gliding at Jockey's Ridge and an underwater camera workshop at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Filmmakers get free housing and travel funding.

Un super festival! Une excellente communication vis à vis des filmmakers et un vrai plaisir de partager la passion du surf autour de films venant du monde entier. Je recommande!

Surfalorus has all of the creative soul-feeding energy of a film festival with the easy going feel of being in the best place in the world—the OBX. If you love Cucalorus and the water, this one is for you. Beach during the day, awesome collection of films and people in the evening. So glad I could be a part of it this year!
