REQUIREMENTS OF THE FESTIVAL
Features and short films will be accepted.
a) Fiction, documentary, experimental and animation short films.
Maximum duration: 35 minutes.
b) Fiction, documentary, experimental and animation feature films.
Minimum duration: 36 minutes.
The MonteCine organization organizes the X film festival that will take place in July 2024 in Montevideo.
1-The films selected to enter the contest will be chosen by the Organization after viewing, by a set of "pre-selection".
2-The mode of participation in the festival is through three means:
a) the direct invitation by the organizers;
b) submission of works through direct submission to the festival's website https://montecine2015.wixsite.com/montecine sending the vimeo file for on-line viewing and paying the corresponding registration fee;
c) through Film Freeway:
Registrations can be made until June 28, 2024.
3- If the film is not spoken in Spanish, it must be subtitled in this language or in English.
4-The participating films accept the public exhibition during the festival date.
5- The competing categories are the following:
Fiction Feature Film
Documentary Feature Film
Animation Feature film
Experimental Feature Film
Fiction short film
Documentary Short Film
Animation Short Film
Experimental short film
Art video short
6- The call has different registration fees according to the date the film is presented:
a) Deadline white: Until October 25: Feature film $ 13; Short film $ 11.
b) Deadline gray: Until November 19: Feature film $ 14; Short film $ 11.
c) Deadline yellow: Until December 19: Feature film $ 16; Short film $ 12.
d) Deadline Green: Until January 19: Feature film $ 17; Short film $ 13.
e) Deadline blue: Until February 19: Feature film $ 17; Short film $ 13.
f) Deadline purple: Until March 17: Feature film $ 18; Short film $ 14.
g) Deadline pink: Until April 15: Feature film $ 19; Short film $ 15.
h) Deadline black: Until May 13: Feature film $ 19; Short film $ 16.
i) Deadline red: Until June 05: Feature film $ 20; Short film $ 17.
j) Deadline orange: Until June 28: Feature film $ 20; Short film $ 17.

(In case there is not enough level in any category, the Organization may declare the prize desert)
8-The organization will communicate in advance enough to the selected and the winners of the prizes.
Notification of selection: July 2, 2024.
9-The participants in this show accept each and every one of the points that form the bases of the X edition of the Montevideo World Film Festival.
