PANIC FEST PRESENTS "TRICKS & TREATS" HALLOWEEN WEEKEND

A FUN FILLED VIRTUAL WEEKEND OF FILMS & EVENTS

Halloween may be cancelled this year but that doesn't mean the fun has to end. Join Panic Fest Co-Founders Adam Roberts, Tim KC Canton and friends for a weekend full of spooky films and virtual events that will make your spine tingle with delight and terror.

Our "Tricks & Treats" virtual Halloween Weekend will be held online October 30 - Nov 1, 2020. This will not be taking the place of Panic Fest 2021 but instead consider it an extra bonus like getting a full-sized candy bar while trick-or-treating. Stay tuned for more details surrounding Panic Fest 2021. Until then let's get spooky together!

Programming will include the following:
- Feature Films
- Short Film Showcase
- Live Events (podcasts, Q&A, etc)

NAMED ONE OF THE 25 BLOODY BEST GENRE FEST IN THE WORLD BY MOVIEMAKER MAGAZINE IN 2018, 2019 & 2020!

As voted on by online attendees the following categories are eligible for award honors.

Short Film Showcase - Best of Show
Best Film - Feature Film

Feature films must be from 2019-2020 without regular release. Films do not need to be in finished state to submit, please mark these as WIP (Work in Progress) Submission.

Only one feature and short may be submitted per filmmaker, per Halloween season. This does not make you ineligible to submit your film to Panic Fest.

Non-English language films must have subtitles burned in for submission.

Short films should be no longer than 16 minutes in length to submit.

Submission does not guarantee entry into festival.

Filmmakers will be notified no later than October 9th, 2020 if their film has be accepted to play our Halloween Celebration.

  • A great surprise from the Panic Fest Team was this pop up fest in time for Halloween. Hope they make it an annual tradition. Like Panic Fest, which we had also shown another short film at, great curation and presentation. The fest team of Tim and Adam are real film enthusiasts and it shows. There was an overwhelming amount of awesomeness. Great features, multiple shorts blocks and some cool events, even Hungover bingo! And the whole thing was really well designed and thought out. Also stellar communication which is very important to us.
