Welcome to the new film festival Slasher Film Festival. We used to run a festival called the Drunken Zombie Film Festival. After 8 years we decided to close the festival. After a few years it was decided to rebrand as the Slasher Film Festival! A festival that accepts submissions for ALL TYPES of horror films. The name Slasher Film Festival is just a fun name. So if you have a horror film submit now!

Rules & Terms

By submitting to the Slasher Film Festival you agree to let us screen your film on March 13th and 14th, 2020. You also understand we are under no obligation to do so. We hold no rights over your film. We are also allowed to use images from your film to advertise the festival.

Film must have been created in the last 3 years.

    Great communication, especially as the COVID-19 was creating a worldwide pandemic. I hope the Slasher Film Fest can weather this storm and continues to run many more film festivals in the future.

    I hate that I can only give a four star networking review because when my film was shown the d*** coronavirus was just sweeping the nation. Aside from that I really enjoyed the festival and the people hosting it were beyond nice and accommodating. The audience was respectful and engaged in the movies which means a lot since I don't go to the giant multiplexes because of the rudeness of the patrons. Talking with Bryan and his wife was the highlight of my experience from their warmth and kindness. Any amateur filmmaker or even experience should submit their film the Slasher Festival. While it may seem small to some people the respect, kindness, and curiosity I received was humbling.
