Fuori Mercato – Como Independent Film Festival is here to support emerging and independent filmmakers. Our goal is to give them a chance to showcase their films, far from usual blockbusters and made up with independent spirit.
From March 22nd to 25th, four wonderful days full of feature films and short films projected inside our beautiful historical theatre in Como.
Fuori Mercato is a free and independent festival dedicated to free and independent cinematography.
International feature films of all genre, narrative or documentary.
International short films, with running time less than 15 minutes.

600$ prize, a pre-agreement for future screenings inside our historical theatre and an option for one screening inside the famous Cinema Massimo of Turin (the theatre of the National Museum of Cinema).

200$ prize, a pre-agreement for future screenings inside our historical theatre and an option for one screening inside the famous Cinema Massimo of Turin (the theatre of the National Museum of Cinema).

-Foreign language films must be subtitled in Italian.
For those who need to make Italian subtitles for their film, we recommend the following subtitling company, technical partner of Fuori Mercato - Como Independent Film Festival.

-Upon notification of selection to Fuori Mercato - Como Independent Film Festival, the selected filmmaker must respond promptly to agree to allow their work to participate at the festival. If notification does not occur within a reasonable amount of time, invitation/selection will be nullified.
-Once the selected filmmaker has agreed to screen at the festival, Fuori Mercato - Como Independent Film Festival reserves the right to screen said film up to 2-3 times during the festival.
-Filmmakers must have secured clearance to use all copyrighted or trademarked material (music, images, text sources, etc).
-Shipping costs for all the materials used during the screening are charged on the selected filmmakers.
-The films will be chosen by our judges.
