Le Festival cinémas d’Afrique – Lausanne est une manifestation annuelle, unique en Suisse. Il offre une programmation originale de films en provenance du continent africain. Il œuvre pour la promotion et la diffusion des cinémas africains, le soutien aux cinéastes et la sensibilisation du public, tout en conservant une dimension de divertissement culturel et convivial.
Il n’y a aucun frais d’inscription.
Il n’y a pas de compétition ni de prix attribué.

Hello!

The African Cinema Festival - Lausanne is an annual event, unique in Switzerland. It offers an original programming of films from the African continent. It strives to promote and disseminate African films, support African filmmakers and raise public awareness, while ensuring that it maintains its features of cultural and convivial entertainment. It is not a film competition.
The 15th edition of the African Film Festival - Lausanne will take place from 20th to 23rd August 2020
There are no registration fees

Réglement complet sur:

- Courts, moyens et longs métrages : fiction, documentaire, animation ou expérimental.
- Avoir pour sujet l’Afrique
- Date de production : dès janvier 2018.
- Qualité requise : les films doivent répondre à quelques critères techniques professionnels importants à respecter : images de qualité technique professionnelle : format image Full HD (1920x1080, 25 Progressive, respect des niveaux audio). Une attention particulière est portée à la qualité artistique de l’image.
- Ne pas avoir été présentés à la télévision ni diffusés sur internet.
- Ne pas avoir pas bénéficié d’une sortie en salle traditionnelle en Suisse. L’exclusivité nationale, mondiale ou internationale n’est pas demandée.
- Langue : les films en version originale non française doivent être sous-titrés en français ou en anglais.
- La préférence sera donnée aux cinéastes et aux productions d’origine africaine

Full rules on:

The Selection Committee selects the films to be presented at the Festival.
Only films fulfilling the following criteria may be selected and invited:

- Short, medium and feature films, fiction, documentary, animation and experimental.
- The subject matter must relate to Africa.
- Have been produced at the earliest in January 2017.
- The films must fulfil technical professional criteria:
Images of professional technical quality: full HD image format (1920x1080, 25 Progressive, conform to audio levels).
Pay particular attention to the artistic quality of the image, avoiding overexposure, colorimetric errors (white balance) and fuzzy planes (focus errors)
- Not to have been shown on television or broadcast on the internet. We accept all films that have not been released in the cinemas in Switzerland. We do not ask for national, global or international exclusivity.
- Language: films in the original non-French version must be subtitled in French or in English.
- Preference will be given to filmmakers and productions of African origin
