The 3rd Anderson Island Film Festival is postponed until further notice. The committee will monitor the coronavirus situation in the months ahead until such time as health authorities deem it safe for groups to gather. Filmmakers your submitted films will be in consideration for next years festival.
Now in its third year, the Anderson Island Film Festival has has attained regional significance as an inspiration to emerging and established filmmakers. This year it will expand the number of awards it presents to include recognition for local and regional films.
Our mission:
Promoting community and creativity by:
- Showcasing the works of filmmakers regionally and worldwide.
- Selecting films that enrich, entertain, inform and provoke.
- Providing workshops on film-making and film appreciation to nurture a new generation of filmmakers.
Submissions are now being accepted in all categories, including documentaries, feature films, short films and animation.
