FEE WAIVER REQUESTS - PLEASE READ!

Cause Film Festival is a not for profit with the purpose of raising money to donate to the winning film’s cause or charity. The money is raised via submission fees, seat sales for the screening and awards night, and donations. We receive a lot of fee waiver requests and we decline all of them because as much as we would love to help out and accept all the enquiries for waivers, the only way we can continue to run our film festival is to charge for submissions. If we waived the entry fee there would not be enough money to run the festival or have any money to donate to the winning film’s charity.

A festival with a big heart. ❤️ I've attended two years in a row and the quality of films that are screened never cease to amaze me. The festival is run by a team of highly passionate industry professionals and the night itself is always magical. Thank you, CFF, for giving filmmakers an opportunity and platform to make the world a better place.

A fantastic festival! A wonderful opportunity for filmmakers to tell stories about the important issues of our world, to spark conversation and to help make a difference. Suki and her team put on a great festival in 2018, I've come away so inspired.

  • Wonderful platform for filmmakers looking to make a difference in the world! Staff was extremely helpful with different issues that came up. There were occasional technical difficulties with voting, etc, but they were always very responsive and supportive of filmmakers. Very cool that the voting was open to the public, it gave us a great opportunity to rally online support around our cause. I believe we'll see this festival grow in stature in the years to come. I promise I'm not just saying nice things because our film for the bone marrow donor registry/Be The Match won the big prize this year! :)
