Tanzanite International Animation Festival

General Rules, Terms & Conditions for the Tanzanite International Animation Festival.

I, the undersigned, do hereby consent and agree that Tanzanite International Animation Festival and its employees, or agents have the right to present my film and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of show case and promote the Tanzanite International Animation Festival.

I further consent that my name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. I do hereby release to Tanzanite International Animation Festival, its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately.
I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for showcasing the film, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback.

I represent that I am at least 18 years of age, have read and understand the foregoing statement, and am competent to execute this agreement.
The Tanzanite International Animation Festival is under no obligation to provide to the Applicant or any other representative of the Project any comments or feedback regarding the submitted Project.

Terms and Conditions

1. Film selection for the Festival will be made by the Festival Committee.
2. All non-English films must have English subtitles.Non-English and non-Swahili entries must include English subtitles.
3. Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.
4. By submitting to us, you give us consent and right to screen your film in front of a
live audience, and, under special circumstances, online screening.
5. All films selected for the Tanzanite International Animation Festival the rights to use them for promotional purposes.
6. Tanzanite International Animation Festival is permitted to retain copies of each film selected as part of our festival library and for media educational use or for Tanzanite International Animation Festival.
7. All films selected for the Tanzanite International Animation Festival the rights to upload a clip/trailer online and on social media for promotional purposes.
8. You may submit more than one film, but must be accompanied by its own completed submission form
9. We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. All filmmakers will be informed about any changes through email and our online platforms.
10. We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.

11. By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.
12. We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions.
Attendance

While not mandatory, filmmakers are encouraged to attend the festival.
Tanzanite International Animation Festival does not cover travel or accommodation costs unless explicitly stated.

Terminology:

• Nominations: These are all the films that have been nominated for an award in a
category. Not all nominated films will be screened.
• Official Selection: These are all the nominated films selected for screening, which
will be notified via email. If you received a Nomination email, but no Official
Selection email, it means your film will not be screened, but is still a contender for
an award in its category.
•. Award Winners: Chosen from the Nominations (which includes the Official
Selection).

Any disputes arising from participation in Tanzanite International Animation Festival shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
