Mockingbird Media & Arts, LLC, as part of the San Antonio Tricentennial Celebration and in collaboration with the San Antonio Film Commission, will present Mockingbird Media Mobile Cinema: 6 screenings of film, video, and new media works created by local artists at various venues in San Antonio. Curators collaborate with area organizations to present poignant programs based on pertinent themes.
First Saturdays from February to July, the venue and theme will change.

FILMMAKER MUST BE FROM SOUTH TEXAS, USA
Submitting artists who can show evidence of residence in Bexar County will have refunded submission fee.
PLEASE SUBMIT A LETTER OF INTRODUCTION STATING YOUR CONNECTION TO SAN ANTONIO TEXAS.
No age, experience, or time restrictions apply.
No time min or max.
Non- traditional genre works will be given preference.
Artists must be from South Texas to participate and must make an effort to attend the screening.
Each artist selected will receive a screening fee/ stipend in the range of $80-$150.

Submissions are free and on a rolling basis. Works submitted by January 21 will be considered for all 6 screenings.

February theme is: Memory/ Music/ Silence deadline to be considered for this programme is January 21
March theme is: Non- Narrative storytelling deadline to be considered for this programme is February b 21
April theme is: Growth/ Scarcity/ Water deadline to be considered for this programme is March 21
May theme is: Motherhood deadline to be considered for this programme is April 21
June theme is: Home/ Immigration deadline to be considered for this programme is May 21
July theme is: LGBTQ Voices deadline to be considered for this programme is June 21

    Mockingbird Mobile Cinema brought films to unlikely locations, and carefully curated films to match the location. The newest RAICES Center was the perfect intimate spot to view my film, and all the films showcased with it. It was my honor to participate in this event.
