The Aroha Film Festival is a colourful explosion of talent and Takatāpui! This South Pacific festival explores LGBT themes and the queer lives of 2 Spirit native people of colour.

We are looking for experimental web series, short films and music videos that bring innovation, experimentation, laughter and tears in developing a ‘beautiful’ series of “moments on screen”.

We are in particular looking for short film works whose principal creators are tackling issues of suicide, bullying and hate.

Rangatahi Youth, Faf Swag Afro Punks, Queer Natives and Diva Trans Lives on Screen!

All at Aroha Film Festival 2017!
