Australian Music Week is a conference and artist showcase event which is taking place in the Sydney beachside suburb of Cronulla from November 6-9, 2018.

Accompanying the event will be a film festival, showcasing the best in MUSIC RELATED cinema (long and short form) across 2 days (November 10th and 11th), with special events and screenings.

Only 6 features will be chosen for the festival, with select features screening with a short film.

In addition to the general public, this will be an opportunity to screen your film in front of Australia’s and the world’s most influential and successful promoters, agents, venue bookers, managers, labels, media people and more - alongside your film festival regulars.

Successful filmmakers will receive a Filmmaker pass to the film festival, as well as one 2-day delegate pass to the AMW conference. There will be no fee paid to the winners, however we will discuss additional opportunities inc. Q&As, performances and red carpet events, if you're successful.

The films should be music focused - documentaries or biopics about musicians (real or fictional) or the music industry will be the films chosen for this event. Any films that don't fit this category will not be considered.

Great festival to work with. Good communication and a pleasure. Unfortunately I couldn't attend, but I will certainly try to in the future.

I'm super sad that I could not attend this amazing festival. Bur Australia is quite far from europe.
The communication was great, also the marketing-work of the festival.
I'm really proud that ma short film was screened here. Thank you!
