We welcome not only films made by female directors, but any works from long or short, documentary or narrative, if in any way they concern women in our festival. We seek movies that focus on women's issues, problems, and concerns, or in any way, center around their sadness, happiness, success, failure, and ,overall, their world- films where the leading character or one of the important characters is a woman, narrating the life of women today anywhere in the world. We are not looking for a specific theme in films; the fact that the filmmaker's perspective on their subject is fresh is sufficient to enter our festival, whether it is a film about the hardships of working women in poor countries or about the daily life of a middle-class woman in developed countries. The film can be directed by a woman or a man, but addressing issues related to women makes our priority. Whether they feature the difficulties of a female student's life or the hopes of an 80-year-old woman, works that we are always looking for have a fresh look at the issue of women or ,even with recurrent themes, deal with an issue still remaining full of freshness and charm.

Please note that our festival currently holds 'online screenings' with a vast range of film/media enthusiasts from all over the world coming to our website to watch the films/shows/music videos. This is a great opportunity we can use to have the works presented to a larger audience in the post-COVID era.
We are also in the process of confirming a venue for our potential in-person gathering/screening later in the year.

It was an honor to be part of the Rome Women Film Fest. We were so honored to be selected by this fest in particular as our film revolves around a sensitive subject that unfortunately is common. Thank you Rome Women Film Fest again.
