Little Nightmares is a film festival looking to showcase the best in Canadian horror shorts. If you're a Canadian filmmaker, working in the horror/sci-fi genre, this is the festival for you.

Little Nightmares awards are chosen by the attending audience. Categories include: Best Short, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best FX, and Best Score/Sound Design

Films must be produced in Canada, by Canadian filmmakers, and fit into the genre of horror/horror-comedy/sci-fi. Filmmakers are free to submit their films year round, with films submitted after April being considered for the following year's festival.

The festival was held in a quaint little theatre in Hamilton, right downtown and played some incredible local and international genre films. The theatre itself offered a variety of beverages before and after the show. The theatre itself presented great picture and sound. Can't wait for next year!

There is excellent communication with the festival organizer and the presentation of films, both on screen and in publicity, is done with the utmost care and skill. Little Nightmares is one of the best short film festivals in Canada and will certainly grow each year!
