The 1st Annual Ohio River Valley Short Film Festival will be held in historic Paden City, West Virginia on April 9th, 2021 at the Paden City Library, 114 South 4th Street, Paden City, WV 26159.

This is a very special festival produced by multi-award winning film and TV writer Dave Shelton (Everbody Loves Raymond, National Lampoon).

Paden City is a peaceful town set along the Ohio River, about 40 miles south of Wheeling. It is the home to the world renowned Paul Wissmach Glass Company and Marble King, the world's top manufacturer of marbles.

AWARDS CEREMONY will be held immediately after the festival. Festival is not responsible for transportation or lodging to the Festival. Media will be in attendance.

Rules & Terms

Submissions must be 30 minutes or less and no shorter than 4 minutes (all submissions will be judged by category, not length (eg: under 10 minutes vs. under 30 minutes). Submissions can be in digital form (either mp4 or similar) or non-returnable DVDs of high quality. Accepting submissions shot on video or film or any format as long as presented in mp4 or similar or on DVD. Please include an email, phone number and address when submitting digitally and DVD's.

DVD's not returnable. All rights of copyrights(c), registrations (WGA, PGA, DGA, etc.) remain with filmmaker. Submissions are for festival judging and presentation.

Only winners will be notified. If you haven't received notification of such by notification date, it means you weren't selected. We wish everyone good luck in the competition.

    It has been an honor for Wonder Pictures to be a part of the beginnings of this festival. Dave Shelton has kept the lines of communication wide open. This has been a difficult year to begin anything but we think Dave was most successful in his endeavors. Due to COVID I could not attend in person but Dave still stayed in touch and kept us posted on events. I would highly recommend this festival. I believe it will be around for a long time and I hope to visit in person next year. BRAVO Dave.
