The Festival Internacional de Cine Rio Colorado (FICRC) is a non-profit festival that seeks to be a meeting point for filmmakers from all over the world, providing learning tools of knowledge and appreciation of cinema, as well as empowering stories that make an impact on the cultural authenticity of the region, and those stories of Mexico, Latin America and the rest of the world.

El Festival Internacional de Cine Rio Colorado (FICRC) es un festival sin fines de lucro que buscar ser un punto de encuentro para cineastas de todo el mundo, dar herramientas de aprendizaje para añadir valor al conocimiento y apreciación del cine, así mismo empoderando las historias que hagan impacto en la autenticidad cultural de la región, y aquellas historias de México, Latinoamerica y el mundo.

Rules & Terms

ENGLISH-------------------------
- The duration of the short films in each category should not exceed the duration of 30 minutes.

- No work will be received physically, only through online platforms.

- Preferentially upload all Press Kits and promotional material directly to the FilmFreeway site.

- The dates of reception of films is: January 27, 2018, until June 20, 2018.

- Films that are not spoken in Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish.

- The dates, location and time of the projections are for the consideration of the FICRC.

- The Official Selection will be announced on July 20, 2018.

- The FICRC reserves the right to select or not any film that corresponds or does not meet the moral, ideological or inappropriate criteria for the festival.

- The result of the selection by the jury will be unappealable.

- In the Guaranteed Entry category (This is not a competitive section), the programming and official selection of those films that have all the necessary criteria for the aforementioned festival will be guaranteed, we reserve the right to admit those films that do not comply with the bylaws, in case of non-compliance With the requirements or due to excessive programming in time, a refund will be made to the participant.

- La duración de los cortometrajes en cada categoría no deberá exceder la duración de 30 minutos.

- No se recibirá ningún trabajo de manera física, solamente mediante plataformas online.

- Preferencialmente subir todos los Press Kits y material promocional directo al sitio de FilmFreeway.

- Las fechas de recepción de películas es de: Enero 27 de 2018, hasta el 20 de Junio de 2018.

- Las películas que no estén habladas en Español deberán estar subtituladas al Español.

- Las fechas, locación y hora de las proyecciones está a consideración del FICRC.

- La Selección Oficial será anunciada el 20 de Julio del 2018.

- El FICRC se reserva el derecho de seleccionar o no cualquier film que corresponda o no con los criterios morales, ideológicos, o de carácter inapropiados para el festival.

- El resultado de la selección por el jurado será de carácter inapelable.

- En la categoría de Entrada Garantizada (Esta no es una categoría de competencia) se garantizará la programación y selección oficial de aquellos films que cuenten con todos los criterios necesarios para el festival antes mencionados, nos reservamos el derecho de admitir aquellos films que no cumplan con los estatutos, en caso de no cumplir con los requerimientos o por exceso de programación en tiempo se hará un reembolso al participante.
