1. FILMS REGISTRATION.
1.1. CONDITIONS OF THE FILM.
Year of production: 2024-2026.
Commercially unreleased in Spain, except for video clips.
International scope.
All genres, styles, and themes.

1.3. DEADLINES.
The deadline for the application of films to the festival will end on June 15, 2026.
Selection announcements will be made before October 30, 2026.
The event will take place between November 6-10, 2026.
1.4. SECTIONS.
Short film Length less than 60 '.
Feature film over 60'.
Cartoons Unlimited duration.
Documentary Unlimited duration.
Video creation Duration less than 60'. Unpublished in commercial circuits.
Video clip Lasts the time of the music theme. Unlimited duration. The film may be broadcast on the Internet.
Children and Youth Duration less than 10 minutes. Shorts intended for children and young people aged 5 to 16.
2. SELECTED FILMS.
2.1. SENDING COPIES
Shipments are made online.
2.2. PROJECTION AND STREAMINGS
The selected films will be screened in the spaces that will be announced and/or streamed if the filmmaker accepts and with the conditions of geographical blocking and permanence self-managed by the filmmaker.
2.3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
Responsibility for Originality and Rights
The individual or entity submitting a film to the Girona Film Festival declares and guarantees that the work is original and that they hold all intellectual property rights and any other rights necessary for its exhibition and promotion.
Grant of Rights
By completing the submission process, the participant irrevocably grants the Festival a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to exhibit and promote the submitted work during the official festival dates and in any subsequent events directly related to the Festival. This license includes, but is not limited to, public screenings, promotional activities, and digital streaming.
The films in the Children and Youth section can be viewed in Schools and Institutes for educational purposes, as the public acts as a jury.
No Screening Fees
The activity is not for profit, it responds to the founding principles of the Girona Film Festival of promoting talent and artistic creativity with a content of noble human values".
2.4. JURY DECISION
The jury consists of a president and other members. The president of the jury may exercise the vote of honor if necessary.
The jury watches the films, deliberates, votes, and gives rise to the verdict.
The verdict is secret until the presentation of the Prize in the Awards. Exceptionally there may be confidential communications.

Best Children's and Youth Film
The Award is a trophy. Its value is in the festival category, its jury, and the dissemination it is given.
The prize is officially announced on the night of the Award and collected there.
The winner is not notified in advance. Exceptionally it could be communicated confidentially.
2.6. IMPORTANT
The registration implies the acceptance of these regulations and the customs of the festivals.
If force majeure causes force to modify the regulation, it will be published with the new modifications.
In case of differences and disagreements, they will be resolved following the habits of the sector, the dialogue and good will.
