Since 2009, the Montgomery Film Festival has showcased short films from around the world. Action, comedy, drama, horror, animation, documentary – you name it. Central Alabama’s annual short film festival provides an opportunity for filmmakers and film lovers to show their creativity and support for the good, the great, and the weird. Now accepting feature-length films in addition to shorts.

In addition to screenings, the Montgomery Film Festival recognizes the best features and short films with our Audience Choice Awards.

Rules & Terms

The maximum run time for short films is forty-five (45) minutes.

All genres are welcome to interpretation.

All films entries must be submitted as a digital file.

One film per entry fee. Entry fees are non-refundable.
