There is no restriction for the film production year.
Films by filmmakers or producers who are members in the WIFT Chapter in Cyprus or a WIFT Chapter abroad are accepted.
We try to combine in the event screenings, two films: one film by a local WIFT member and one film by a WIFT member from abroad.
Screenings are scheduled with the confirmation of film director's or film's representative attendance.
Films which provide a DCP for the screening are preferred for the screeenings in the Cinema.
EVENTS:
1. September 24, Nicosia Cyprus - Screenings with MP4. Only for CYWIFT members. You can apply to become a member here: http://wiftcy.org/en/become-a-member/ (The webpage is renewed once a year)
2. November 15-18, at RIO PREMIER CINEMA, Nicosia, Cyprus: CYWIFTIFF - CYWIFT International Film Festival - Screenings with DCP only.
3. Other events will be announced soon.

Awards & Prizes

It is not a competitive event. There are Audience Awards in several categories.
All selected participants are kindly invited for networking with the local film industry. Flight and accommodation expenses are covered by the participants.

The Women In Film and Television - CYWIFT Friends Industry Screenings provide members of WIFT chapters worldwide with the opportunity to show their work in a theatrical or a virtual theatrical setting in Cypus. We invite you to join us and celebrate the work of our talented WIFT CYPRUS female filmmakers and artists and other WIFT chapter members!

Screenings are done with DCP sent via filemail and are scheduled with the confirmation of film director's or film's representative attendance.
Special events including pitches are organized during the Cyprus Women In Film And Television International Film Festival - CYWIFTIFF .
