Rules & Terms

✅WIFT Cyprus welcomes filmmakers of all genders.

✅To be eligible, the film must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Extraordinary Women: Films that portray inspiring, influential, or remarkable women.
Women's Stories: Films that explore topics, experiences, or challenges affecting women.
Films by Women Filmmakers: Films in which the director, producer, or DOP is a woman.
50/50 Representation: Films that demonstrate balanced gender representation in the credits.

🔥 Pitch Category Requirements: Applicants should submit the project title, a short synopsis, a brief description of the project's current stage of development, and a statement of the director's or producer's vision for the project. Selected participants will introduce their project through a visual presentation and a 5-minute pitch during the festival. Attendance by the director or an authorized representative is required. 🚀🎬

Women in Film & Television (WIFT) was founded in Los Angeles in 1973. Its mission is to create equal opportunities in film, television, and media. Today, WIFT is a global network open to all genders, supporting its members through networking, education, and advocacy both in front of and behind the camera.
