Short and medium length films.

There is no restriction for the film production year.
Films by filmmakers or producers who are members in the WIFT Cyprus or a WIFT Chapter abroad are also accepted.
We try to combine in the event screenings, two films: one film by a local WIFT member/friend and one film by a WIFT member from abroad.
Screenings are scheduled with the confirmation of film director's or film's representative attendance.
Format accepted is MP4. Films which provide a DCP for the screening are preferred for the screenings in the Cinema.

Awards & Prizes

It is a networking and not a competitive event.
There are Audience Awards in several categories including the free membership registration in WIFT CYPRUS chapter, as well as the "WIFT CYPRUS Award" in the 4 annual events "WIFT CYPRUS curates..." in Greece and in the Cyprus International Film Festival.
All selected participants are kindly invited for networking with the local film industry. Flight and accommodation expenses are covered by the participants.

The Women In Film and Television - CYPRUS, WIFT CYPRUS' Friends Industry Screenings provide members of WIFT chapters worldwide with the opportunity to show their work in a theatrical or a virtual theatrical setting in Cypus.
