Surapong Wetsuwanmanee (Mu) is an award-winning animation filmmaker and animation educator based in Thailand. With over a decade of experience teaching animation, he combines strong creative direction with an efficient and scalable production approach.

He is the founder of Kanya Animation, an independent animation studio established over 15 years ago, specializing in 2D animation with selective 3D integration, recognized for its distinctive visual identity and efficient production methodology that achieves high production value through streamlined workflows. It operates with a scalable team model that expands according to project needs.

He is the creator of the animated feature film Lighting Candle (90 minutes), which received international recognition with awards in the United States, Canada, and Thailand, and was a finalist at Cartoon on the Bay (Italy). His animated short film The Final Exam also won Best Animated Short Film in Italy.
