Mohammed Dabani is a Moroccan-born filmmaker who grew up in the UK. He studied media and television at the London College and earned a degree in filmmaking from Goldsmiths, University of London. His early career began in 2002, teaching filmmaking to young people at Youth Culture Television (YCTV), an experience that sparked his commitment to socially engaged storytelling.
In 2007, he joined BBC Wales in Cardiff as an assistant producer on digital platforms, deepening his expertise in media production and narrative development.
Now based in Brussels, Dabani continues to explore stories rooted in identity, migration, and resilience. His recent works include the powerful documentary Fatima: A Life of an Activist (2022), as well as the short films Home (2020), Salima (2018), Lost (2016), and Storyteller (2015). Through ADM Prod, he channels his passion for visual storytelling to amplify underrepresented voices and explore complex social realities with depth and nuance.
