Director Statement

My interest in filmmaking stems from my wide experience working with people from wide ranging walks of life and from my background in creative arts and TV production, which I have developed from personal interest into my chosen career path.
Over 10 years my experience and expertise has been varied and gained predominately on a no-profit sector at local TV channel. I have worked as a trainer, facilitator and production supervisor for the Youth Culture Television (YCTV) in West London. This involved training young people aged 11-20 from different backgrounds to produce television programmes. My main responsibilities included facilitating day to day running studio facilities including the booking, allocation, maintenance and operation of the studio as well as I support and advise young people in all aspects of the realisation of TV programmes and training workshops from inception to transmission to help that they fulfil their potential and develop their skills which I gained an expertise, experience and understanding working with young people and developed events and workshops management and working partnership with young people.
