Sara Massa (São Miguel, Azores, 2002) has lived in Lisbon since 2021. She is a multimedia artist,
a filmmaker, a painter, and a performer. In 2024, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon.
In her artistic practice, she's interested in what people avoid because it's unknown and strange, especially when it comes to inequality. Starting from existing and limited concepts, the artist uses symbolic and metaphorical images that highlight new idealizations as a form of not fighting prejudice but creating a new concept.
