JORDAN DIOW, stage name of Pascal Duthuin, former head of a high-tech company (Lithium Espace Mobiles), president of the artistic association ◄۞16/9 Productions۞►, is an actor, singer-songwriter and internationally award-winner director whose unique style blends poetry, rock music and art-house cinema with an experimental and conceptual artistic approach that fuses technical rigor and narrative depth. A French national, he was born in Besançon and resides in L'Isle-Adam, Val d'Oise.

“ Originally from Franche-Comté, a land of snow and ruggedness, born to a Swiss mother and a French father, educated in Besançon, a historic city imbued with the aura of Victor Hugo and the Lumière Brothers, I grew up surrounded by and in the combined admiration of the works of Gustave Courbet and the Master Watchmakers who made the city famous throughout Europe. After obtaining a baccalaureate in literature with honors and then a year of wandering in an economics program, I studied filmmaking techniques at the CLCF (Conservatoire libre du cinéma français), which awarded me a BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma), then its more volatile aspects, history and theory, at the University of Paris-VIII. I soon discovered other artistic disciplines, which I learned on my own, particularly the visual arts during the two years I worked as a salesman for the Graphigro chain. And, as a seasoned traveler, enriched by a long stay in India, I then strove to forge a personal creative path through the enclaves of video production, drawing on a multitude of graphic, photographic, musical, and literary experiences. I call this particular journey the 'encyclopedic temptation'. “

JORDAN DIOW, nom d'artiste de Pascal Duthuin, ex-chef d'entreprise high-tech (Lithium Espace Mobiles), président de l'association artistique ◄۞16/9 Productions۞►, est un acteur, auteur-compositeur-interprète et réalisateur primé à l'international dont l'univers singulier mêle poésie, rock music et cinéma d'auteur avec une approche artistique expérimentale et conceptuelle fusionnant exigence technique et profondeur narrative. De nationalité française, il est né à Besançon et demeure à L'Isle-Adam en Val d'Oise.

" Originaire de Franche-Comté, pays de neige et de rudesse, né de mère suisse et père français, scolarisé à Besançon ville historique nimbée des auréoles de victor-Hugo et des Frères Lumière, je grandis par et dans l'admiration conjointe des œuvres de Gustave Courbet et des Maîtres-Horlogers qui firent la réputation de la ville dans toute l'Europe. Après l'obtention d'un baccalauréat littéraire mentionné puis une année d'errance en cursus économique, j'étudiai la technique du cinéma au CLCF (Conservatoire libre du cinéma français), qui me décerna un BTS, puis ses données plus volatiles, histoire(s) et théorie(s), à l'université Paris-VIII. Je découvris bientôt d'autres disciplines artistiques dont je fis l'apprentissage en autodidacte, particulièrement les arts plastiques durant les deux années où je fus vendeur pour l'enseigne Graphigro, et, en voyageur aguerri autant que nourri par un long séjour en Inde, je m'efforçai de tracer ensuite une ligne créatrice personnelle au travers des enclaves d'une vidéo-production nourrie de multiples expériences graphiques, photographiques, musicales & littéraires. Je nomme ce cheminement particulier la ' tentation encyclopédique '. "
