2. In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.
3. A selection of 10 international shorts will be screened as part of our festival, so
we will have to ask our entrants to consider the following points:
4. Only the shorts selected and/or awarded by other international festivals, and those that were completed within the year before the submission deadline can apply for the selection. Student films will not be accepted.
5. All entries must have been completed between 2023-2026, and should not be longer than 30 minutes.
6. All filmmakers must provide accurate and complete information stated below when submitting to İFSAK Short Film Festival:
• Filmmaker's name, e-mail. (Filmmaker must be at least 18 year of age)
• Country of Origin of the Film
- Genre&Production credits
• Film language (whatever the original language is, English subtitles in a separate *.srt format will be required)
• Run time
• Completion date
The filmmaker should note that this is an out-of-competition festival. We do not ask for any submission fee, nor can pay for any royalties. Completed submissions mean that the entrant has understood and accepted the term. Filmmakers and/or producers willing to be present in person in the screening of their film are very much welcome, but please note that we are not able to cover the travel and accommodation expenses.
Submission does not mean acceptance. Films that do not meet the above stated terms will be rejected without a prior notice, so please read once again the above rules and terms very carefully.
Films will be reviewed and selected by a committee, and the creators of the selected shorts will be notified on December 1st, 2025.
Rolling Notifications:
Our selection process operates on a rolling basis. This means that filmmakers may receive notification of their film’s selection status at any time before the official Notification Date.
Early notifications allow selected filmmakers more time to prepare promotional materials and screening files. However, final screening schedules and program announcements will be published on the official Announcement Date.
