✅ Requisiti di partecipazione
Il bando è aperto a cortometraggi a tema libero.
Sono ammesse opere già presentate in altri festival.
Ogni autore/autrice può partecipare con una sola opera per sezione.
Possono partecipare cortometraggi provenienti da qualsiasi nazione, realizzati in qualsiasi lingua e/o tecnica.
I film in lingua diversa dall’italiano devono essere obbligatoriamente sottotitolati in italiano.
La durata massima consentita per ciascun cortometraggio è di 30 minuti, inclusi i titoli di coda.
Scadenza invio opere: 15 luglio 2026 (pena esclusione).
🎬 Categorie in concorso
1) NARRATIVO: sono ammessi cortometraggi narrativi a tema libero e realizzati con qualsiasi tecnica e/o mezzo ad esclusione delle AI.
2) DOCUMENTARIO: sono ammessi documentari che, attraverso un approccio di reportage, esplorano e valorizzano l’anima culturale, sociale, naturalistica dell'essere umano o di luoghi e situazioni, realizzati con qualsiasi tecnica e/o mezzo ad esclusione delle AI.
3) SICILIA: sono ammessi cortometraggi, ed opere (fiction, documentari, animazione, sperimentali) che abbiano come tematica la Sicilia, che siano state girate nel territorio siciliano o che siano state realizzate da autori siciliani (anche se residenti fuori dall'isola), realizzati con qualsiasi tecnica e/o mezzo ad esclusione delle AI.
4) STRANIERO: sono ammessi cortometraggi di qualsiasi genere (fiction, documentari, animazione) realizzati da autori/autrici non residenti in Italia o prodotti da società straniere, realizzati con qualsiasi tecnica e/o mezzo ad esclusione delle AI.
📩 Modalità di iscrizione
L'iscrizione deve essere effettuata esclusivamente tramite la piattaforma FilmFreeway.
Ogni partecipante dovrà completare accuratamente il proprio profilo con i seguenti materiali, che saranno utilizzati anche per la comunicazione stampa:
- Link visualizzabile del film (formato richiesto: 1920x1080p);
- Trailer ufficiale;
- Cinque foto di scena;
- Locandina del cortometraggio;
- Sinossi;
- Breve biografia del regista.
L’organizzazione offrirà gratuitamente vitto e alloggio a Pettineo, per un massimo di 2 notti, a tutti i registi/autori finalisti della "Selezione Ufficiale". Per eventuali accompagnatori è previsto uno sconto del 50% sulle tariffe delle strutture convenzionate.

✅ Eligibility Requirements
Submission is open to short films with no thematic restrictions.
Works previously submitted to other festivals are allowed.
Each filmmaker may submit only one short film per category.
Submissions are open to short films from any country, in any language and/or technique.
Films not in Italian must include Italian subtitles.
The maximum duration for each short film is 30 minutes, including credits.
Submission deadline: July 15, 2026 (entries received after this date will be excluded).
🎬 Competition Categories
1) NARRATIVE: Narrative short films with no theme restrictions, created using any technique and/or medium. Works generated partially or entirely by AI are excluded.
2) DOCUMENTARY: Documentary shorts that, through a reportage-style approach, explore and enhance the cultural, social, or natural essence of human beings, places, or situations. Created using any technique and/or medium. Works generated partially or entirely by AI are excluded.
3) SICILY: Open to short films and works (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental) that focus on Sicily as a theme, were filmed within the Sicilian territory, or were created by Sicilian authors (including those residing outside the island). Created using any technique and/or medium. Works generated partially or entirely by AI are excluded.
4) FOREIGN: Open to short films of any genre (fiction, documentary, animation) created by authors not residing in Italy or produced by foreign companies. Created using any technique and/or medium. Works generated partially or entirely by AI are excluded.
📩 Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be made exclusively through the FilmFreeway platform.
Each participant must fill out their profile with the following materials, which will also be used for press releases and official communications:
- A viewable link to the film (required format: 1920x1080p);
- Official trailer;
- Five production stills;
- Official poster;
- Film synopsis;
- Short biography of the director.
The organization will provide free room and board in Pettineo for a maximum of 2 nights to all finalists in the 'Official Selection'. A 50% discount at partner facilities is available for any accompanying guests.
