Terrell Sandefur is a film & TV producer and the co-founder and managing director of FilmGeorgia.com, an online film & television directory, connecting industry professionals to Georgia-based vendors and service providers.
Terrell entered the independent film world in 2005 when he helped launch a film festival in his hometown of Macon, Georgia. He served the Macon Film Festival through 2017 in a variety of roles including president, marketing director, development, and festival emcee. He also served as the Macon-Bibb County Film Commissioner, promoting film locations and assisting film productions.
A long-time promoter of the Georgia film industry, Terrell co-hosts the Choose Georgia event at Sundance Film Festival, an event designed to bring more film production to the state. He serves on the board of directors of Film Impact Georgia, a nonprofit that is uniquely dedicated to using our strength, reputations, and actions to help provide voice to those making independent films in Georgia.
Terrell lives in Palm Springs, California.
