Short Circuit show thought-provoking short films that have their roots in documentary. Now well established our themed screenings in Brighton invite emerging, established and award winning artists and filmmakers to share their often unconventional approaches to themes and documentary storytelling.

*Short Circuit Film is a non-profit CIC, member of the BFI Audience Network and FilmHubSE.

ELIGIBILITY
• Keep films short (we prefer films of 20 mins and under)
• Films submitted MUST have roots in documentary. Drama and fiction submissions will not be considered
• Submitted films must be in English or have English subtitles.
• Films must be submitted via the FilmFreeway unless otherwise requested.

USAGE
• We may use stills or excerpts of your film for promotional purposes If you don't wish your film to be used for promotion then please let us know.
• We reserve the right to edit the information provided in your submission for publicity to promote the Festival.
• We will not share your data/ work or passwords without your permission.

ENTRY FEE
• Short Circuit is a non profit and volunteer run event. The Entry fee is used for screening events and administration only.

    A lovely and intimate venue with some strong films. Some small technical issues affected the screening and it would have helped to have a more networking opportunities during the event but overall an interesting exhibition.
