We are writing with incredibly heavy hearts to let you know that this year's festival has been cancelled.

All submissions will be fully refunded.
We are working with the FilmFreeway team to close done this page and have all refunds completed as soon as possible.

This was not a decision we ever imagined having to make, and we are genuinely devastated. Programming the festival and watching your work has been a privilege, and stepping away from it is something we are still coming to terms with.

What we had the chance to watch this year was wonderful. Year after year we are consistently floored by the quality, originality and care that comes through in the submissions we receive. Thank you so much for trusting us with your films and for sharing your work with our team.

To those of you who have screened with us before, thank you. Truly.
The joy we got from showcasing your films, sitting in cinemas with audiences and celebrating your work was immense. It was the best job and we loved it deeply.

We wish you the very best with your submissions and hope your films find wonderful homes.
Please keep making films. We know its hard, and we know the submission process drives you insane, but what you are creating is so incredibly important. Your films are important.
