Hey guys! Welcome to our FilmFreeway event page! We are dedicated to many different genres and have members on our panel dedicated to screenwriting, photography, and each one of our categories as well but have an affinity with anything sports, environment and adventure related. Although we also have categories from comedy and drama to horror and suspense, so either way your project will be right at home and judged by the appropriate team.

We pride ourselves in our community, and love local work but our doors are open to international projects as well to help get everyone the recognition they deserve!

Please join us to make our festival whole, and help us continue to grow as we have each year in the past.

Awards & Prizes

Digital awards will be given by category, subdivided by nation.

Rules & Terms

· Entries must be in English or - Subtitled in English.
· Every submission has to enter one main film category in order to be considered for sub-categories.
· Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.
· All entries should be sent via FilmFreeway. Please don't send discs or any downloadable files to us as we are unable to accept those entries.
· Works in progress are accepted.
· Entries will not be returned.
· Entry fees are non-refundable

    Thank you Pacific Beach Film Festival for selecting our film, They Dont Cast Shadows as a winner for your festival, however, we never heard back on what we won. The communication was non-existent. We tried to message the festival multiple times with no response back. The last we heard was in early August letting us know we’d find out what we won, but they never posted anything and would not return emails or Twitter messages (which is where they show their list of winners). I’m not sure if something happened to the festival director or staff, but to not hear back is really frustrating. We will not be submitting to this festival again. Their communication was lacking and we still do not know what we won, it is now October.

    I'm grateful that my script made it as a Finalist. What I miss is the festival info itself. I live not far from Pacific Beach and couldn't find any info on the festival; otherwise, I would have attended. Neither Googling or their website helped me to track it down.
