Melissa Goad is known as the “Actor’s Director”. Her directorial debut was on the feature film, “They Don’t Cast Shadows” starring Emily Gateley and Chandler Hancock. Melissa has been in the industry since the age of 12, starting her career as an actor and has been a SAG-AFTRA member since 2009. She produced her first feature film in 2007. She transitioned into a director out of necessity when her and business partner, Bob Leone, created Inspireworks Productions to turn his Christian novel into a film.
Melissa absolutely loves directing and is excited for their upcoming projects.
Inspireworks' next film has started pre-production and is aiming to film July 2022 with an estimated budget between $400-500k. Melissa will direct this next film as well. It will be a Hallmark type Christian film called, "His Unfaithful Heart" that Melissa wrote the screenplay for based off of Bob Leone's book.
