Winston Churchill wrote, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” And I write, "Those who fail to learn from film history are doomed to remake it."
I am a San Diego-based writer of several plays and screenplays. Originally from Arlington, VA, I went to college at MN-Duluth to study theatre and psychology. I produced, co-wrote and directed the feature family film, "Class President," now streaming on Google Play. I have a love/hate relationship with remakes. Hence, "Possum Man." When is a classic better left alone? Is updating a film for a younger audience always the best move? Could be, could not be. I hope my script gets people talking.
