2023 Nosferatu Festival Vampire Film Contest Rules:
- Nosferatu Festival Vampire Film Contest is open to all submissions of the "vampire" subgenre. Wiikipedia describes a vampire as thus: "A vampire is a creature from folklore that subsists by feeding on the vital essence (generally in the form of blood) of the living."
- All entries must be submitted via Private Link through FilmFreeway for review purposes.
- Film MUST not be more than 20 minutes in length.
- Submitting is on a one film per submission rule, but you can submit as many shorts as you like (each short will have it's own submission fee).
- Party submitting must own all rights to the work that you're submitting or have permission which you must show proof of. This includes images, logos, music, and other intellectual content of submitted short. Party submitting must also have permission from any 3rd party such as, but not limited to, distributors (physical and digital) of the short.
- When completing the submission process you agree to have the necessary rights for Nosferatu Festival to screen said short in person and have it streamed online during the festival.
- Submissions fees are non-refundable and final even if festival dates change or if festival is cancelled.

We welcome films of all languages but ask that you dub or include subtitles for English speaking patrons.
- There are NO Specified Dates required for Production.
- Entries from prior years can resubmit
- Entrants will permit Nosferatu Festival to use the title of the work submitted, log-line, names, contact information and/ or likeness & publicity stills in pre & post publicity & promotional efforts. We may also use small clips of your submitted short for Film Contest & Festival promotion efforts.
