Mike went from a German public housing project to collecting almost as many degrees as a thermometer. Now an immigration attorney and lawyer, the grandson of a 1920s magician still pulls tricks—with words, guitars, and legal precision.
Mike Meier is an attorney who accidentally wandered into show business and never found the exit. After years of writing legal briefs with dramatic flair and arguing facts like they were plot twists, he began doing what any sensible lawyer would do: turning real-life chaos into books, musicals, screenplays, and stories that sing.
His comedy musical Shangri-La-La takes a glitter-bomb to the mythology of Las Vegas showbiz (yes, those famous illusionists Siegfried & Roy), while his dystopian sci-fi JoinWith.Me peers into the near future where screens stare back and the algorithm always wants “just one more click.”
He lives in the DMV area, makes frequent creative raids on New York City, and remains licensed to practice law—mostly as a reminder that reality is stranger than fiction, and far less musical.
