MP stands for Motion Picture Film Award, dedicated to independent films and filmmakers. With competitions every two months, We dedicate ourselves to awarding films based on their originality and creativity.

Our competition is divided into budget groupings split across various media forms: short films, feature films, web-series, and music videos. Within these four production categories, we separate the projects by their budgets: under $5,000, between $5,000-$10,000, and more than $10,000.

When submitting your project you automatically enter the ‘Competition Only' category. All films in this category are judged on an equal level regardless of length or budget constraints. For a complete and up-to-date list of our categories, please visit our website.

All selected participants within the main competition will be considered for the Jury Prizes. No films will be selected for our competition without a specific nomination.

For an extended Critique review of your film or web series, please enter Critique Review Only. The reviews average around 500 words each. We are currently unable to provide Critique Review for unproduced scripts.

Rules & Terms

All Submission accepted by online only. we don't need hard copies (DVD, Tapes, etc.)

Film language other than English must need English subtitle

Entry fees are non - refundable.

Student filmmakers must need a valid school ID

The submitter can submit multiple entries.

We don't accept films produced and completed before 2000,

All the communications through email only.

There are no Online/Public screenings for your film. so that we do not affect your other submissions or premiere status.

The submitter can request for online screening, trailer teaser screening or promotion through social media and our website.
